Pear ‘Patten’

The tree is medium-sized, with a compact crown. A late winter variety with attractive, large fruits. They are greenish-yellow with a distinct dark red color on the sunny side. The flesh is fine-grained, juicy, sweet, with a pleasant taste. The fruits are harvested in early October, and can be stored until spring. The variety has good winter hardiness and disease resistance.
