Almond ‘Plena’

Flowering almond (Amygdalus triloba) is the closest “relative” of the sakura. It blooms very abundantly, simultaneously with the unfolding of the leaves. The flowers are large, double, pink in color, bloom in April-May. The crown is spread with upright branches, about 2-3 m high, about 1.5 m wide. It will prefer sunny, wind-protected garden areas.
