Apricot ‘Black Prince’

A hybrid of apricot and plum. The tree is medium-sized, vigorous, reaching 3–4m in height. The fruits are dark burgundy to nearly black when fully ripe. The flesh is reddish-orange, very juicy, and aromatic. The flavor is sweetsour, reflecting the plum-apricot hybrid. Tolerant of severe winters, and the buds can withstand spring frosts.
