Dwarf apple tree ‘Ametists’

Winter variety. The fruits are harvested in early October, stored in a cool cellar until May. The fruits are medium to large, bicolored – yellow on the shady side and bright orange-red on the sunny side, very attractive. The flesh is juicy, firm, and crisp. The taste is sweet, with a weak acidity and a caramel flavor and aroma. The fruits are also delicious in cool and rainy summers. The trees are winter-hardy and resistant to scab.
