Grow in well-drained, sufficiently moist and fertile, loose soil. Tolerates a little shade, but feels best in the sunniest part of the garden, where it also blooms more magnificently. In harsh winters, young shoots can freeze (they regenerate, but the bushes bloom poorly).<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000\">Weigela blooms on both new and previous year&#8217;s shoots.
