Japanese quince (Chaenomeles jap.) or chaenomeles. A variety without thorns. Bushes with very beautiful orange flowers. Created in Pūre, is called the northern lemon, the birthplace of fruit culture is Latvia. The fruit is a very valuable supplier of natural vitamins to the body. It contains a lot of vitamin C.
