Plum ‘Opal’

The tree is of medium height with a dense, narrowly conical crown. Flowers are medium-early. Fruits ripen early. They are medium-sized, rounded, dark crimson with a light blue bloom. The flesh is orange, firm, and juicy, with the stone separating easily.
Partially self-fertile.  Begins producing early, produces abundantly every year. Medium winter hardiness.
